Throughout my career, I have maintained a commitment to excellence and a gold medal approach, translating my sporting success into effective mentoring and coaching across diverse settings, from disability support to elite performance environments. My career includes roles as an educator, lecturer, and researcher, with extensive experience in leadership, team management, and project oversight. I have served as a consultant mentor in athlete development, executive developement, staff development, life development and internship programs, fostering growth and professional excellence.
Types of consulting and mentoring

As my career has transitioned from sport to business, I have acquired vast experience and numerous skills expanding beyond the sports field and into many facets of life where mental stability, tenacity, resilience and consistency are required to perform at the highest level in whatever we do.
​
If we, ourselves are not stable and lack the capacity to manage our emotions are our lives; we cannot attempt to be stable or reliable for those around us.

I have all too many times noticed that when a problem is "swept under the rug", it will almost always manifest elsewhere, often with a devastating impact on our lives and our performance.

Relationship development.​

As a sports management consultant, I help sports athletes, teams and leagues by providing expert "match-making" and contract negotiation and mediation services with corporate sponsors. I work to identify sponsors whose goals align with the sponsee's brand, ensuring both parties can benefit from a mutually advantageous partnership.
​
I collaborate closely with both the sponsee and sponsor to negotiate contracts that meet the needs of all involved, focusing on clear deliverables, financial terms, and performance expectations.
​
By mediating discussions, I ensure that both parties understand their commitments and are set up for long-term success. My goal is to help sponsees secure sponsorships that not only provide financial support but also foster meaningful, lasting relationships that enhance their growth and sustainability in their sport.

​Through strategic match-making and contract mediation, I ensure sponsees build strong, rewarding partnerships that drive their success both on and off the field.


Athlete development​

In working specifically with young athletes, I address the issues that lie in the lack of holistic support and personal guidance. I work closely with athletes and their support to address challenges including:
