“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” - George Bernard Shaw

With significant experience in sports analytics and high performance, I have assisted a number of elite international sports teams through advanced data management, artificial intelligence and high performance solutions during my tenure at G42 in the UAE. With 20 years of experience in business management, exercise physiology, sports science, 3-D movement video analysis, athlete testing, human factors, athlete management, and high performance, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field.

I am highly experienced in leadership, team management, and project management, and I am a registered Biokineticist (Exercise Physiologist) with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

I founded and served as Director of Rivonia Medical Centre in Johannesburg, where I led a multi-disciplinary team, and I co-founded the Sports Performance and Rehabilitation Centre in Cape Town.

My background includes extensive experience in education, lecturing, and scientific research, as well as staff management, internship facilitation, and mentorship. I have worked as an Olympic solidarity and youth talent identification contractor for the World Rowing Federation and have served as Chairman of the Biokinetics Association of South Africa (Gauteng division). I am the author and presenter of “Athletic Development in Young Athletes – A Coach’s Guide to Training Methodology” and have been a presenter and guest speaker for the South African Sports Medicine Association (SASMA), various health professions associations, universities, schools, and businesses.

My career also includes roles as High Performance Rowing Coordinator and Key Opinion Leader at St. George’s Academy, and Performance Director for Rugby at Professional Power Clinic. As a professional rower from 1998 to 2012, I achieved success as a World Championship medallist, Olympic Games qualifier, and Commonwealth Games gold medallist. I have carried the "gold medal" approach from my rowing career into all aspects of life, achieving great rewards in team performance, mentoring, and coaching across various domains, from disability to high performance.
