Strategic Advisory in Sports, Data Analytics, Sponsorship & Organisational Performance

Tony Paladin
Global Sports Consultant | Strategy, Analytics & Partnership Development
“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” - George Bernard Shaw
With two decades of experience across sports analytics, human performance, and business strategy, I’ve worked with elite international teams and organisations to optimise systems, data, and decision-making.
My earlier tenure with G42 in the UAE focused on developing advanced performance frameworks that combined data management, AI, and applied physiology; foundations that continue to shape my work today.
As Founder of Paladin Brookes, I now advise rights-holders, brands, and investors on strategic growth, sponsorship, and organisational performance. My background as a registered Biokineticist (Exercise Physiologist) with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) provides the technical grounding for a broader, data-driven approach to human and business performance.
Previously, I founded and directed Rivonia Medical Centre in Johannesburg and co-founded the Sports Performance and Rehabilitation Centre in Cape Town, leading multi-disciplinary teams in clinical and performance environments.
My career began at the intersection of education, performance science, and mentorship. I’ve lectured, conducted research, and led development programmes for young athletes and professionals across multiple disciplines. As an Olympic Solidarity and youth talent identification contractor for the World Rowing Federation, I helped design and implement performance systems that supported emerging talent globally.
I previously served as Chairman of the Biokinetics Association of South Africa (Gauteng Division) and authored Athletic Development in Young Athletes - A Coach’s Guide to Training Methodology.
I’ve presented internationally for organisations including the South African Sports Medicine Association (SASMA), various professional bodies, and academic institutions.
Before transitioning into consulting and strategy, I held leadership roles as High Performance Rowing Coordinator and Performance Director for Rugby, drawing from my 14-year professional rowing career - which included World Championship medals, Olympic qualification, and a Commonwealth Regatta gold medal.
That high-performance mindset remains the foundation of my work today: building systems, teams, and strategies that deliver measurable results.
